Although our website has been designed to be responsive to all types of devices, it is best viewed with a minimum screen size of 1024 x 768. Responsiveness, down to a screen size of 320 x 480 was tested using the Firefox Responsive Design Mode.
Menus for smaller device sizes are of the 'hamburger" variety and use a 'swipe left' approach for drop-down menus. On mobile devices, an option is available at the top of the screen, to toggle between desktop and mobile views.
Your Visits Are Secure
Julian of Norwich uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) for your protection. When your web browser tries to connect to our website using SSL, your browser will first request that our web server identify itself. This prompts our web server to send your browser a copy of the SSL Certificate. Your browser checks to see if the SSL Certificate is trusted -- if the SSL Certificate is trusted, then your browser sends a message to our Web server. Our server then responds to your browser with a digitally signed acknowledgement to start an SSL encrypted session. This allows encrypted data to be shared between your browser and our server. You may notice that your browsing session now starts with https (and not http), as the Julian of Norwich website forces https for all connections.
Your Password is Equally Secure
All passwords on the Julian of Norwich site are created using a one-way hashing algorithm, making them virtually "unhackable". For that reason, should you forget your password, you must request a new one from the Office Administrator.
